I have been looking at some of the work that Greystones do in our community , looking after the homeless, working to change the lives of alcoholics and other drug users , recently they started a project that helped to feed and provide the homeless with a warm meal and provide them with toiletries, last night sleeping bags were on offer with the food.
Dedicated staff some paid and some volunteers work almost 24 hours looking after the homeless I have made it one of my priorities to work with this group helping them to provide a much needed service in Tameside, new benefit rules and our economic situation will mean more homeless , the Government may not care what happens to them, this group do care and so do I.
