Not homeless and not hungry targeting Ashton shoppers at least 3 of them now

These women have been interviewed to make sure they are not hungry or homeless anyone begging in Ashton is offered a bed and food most refuse the offer the genuine ones take up the offer, most of the food given to these women by generous shoppers in Ashton ends up inside a bin or skip nearby.

Below an example of the work by Greystones who I contacted on Friday to speak to the women begging, emergency beds and food ready to deal with any homeless rough sleepers in a building in Ashton.

Home watch in Dukinfield

One of the issues raised at the recent public meeting was the lack of home watch schemes and the lack of support for the ones in place, home watch schemes are organised by our police officers and we now all know they are struggling to resource them.

Dukinfield councillors are willing to help out if any residents would want to set up a scheme in their area in the past we have tried several times to organise schemes with very little interest clearly things a have changed so we are asking residents if they are willing to help and set up a scheme.

We would organise a meeting in that area with the police and residents to set up the scheme, please contact any of your councillors if you are interested or leave me a message or comment.
