Happy Days for Labour Stokies! said...

A dejected member of Stoke BNP said,

"We just could not compete with the Labour Party and they just smashed us!

"They were really organised this time especially in the centre of the city – colour leaflets and telephone campaigning, they knocked the doors en masse and they got their voters out on polling day.

"I don’t know where the BNP go from here, there is no enthusiasm, and we haven’t met since election night.

"Activists aren’t to blame that’s for sure, we have seen a drop in members, some activist have gone off to join other nationalist parties. It’s all down to Nick Griffin.”

Tony Walley wrote,

I recently asked a senior figure in Stoke BNP if he thought his party was finished for good in our city. He looked me straight in the eye and replied: “I think we are Tone yes”.

He went on to explain that his party had self destructed and imploded in the past two years and he laid the blame firmly and squarely at the doorstep of BNP Leader Nick Griffin.

The story did not get better for the far right party as this activist said that the recent election campaign received no party funding what so ever.

I was told that the BNP would never come back from this low point and that all the fight had gone out of the membership. The party insider revealed that they had really struggled to attract any candidates of quality.

The BNP, Greens and UKIP have nosedived in the last year.
Labour did well to get their vote of morons, the elderly and foreigners out. Well done.

Two ex BNP members told me they knew the BNP were finished six months ago, local man who displays a BNP poster in his window all year round told a friend of mine he did not go out to vote, and he claimed he had signed the candidates papers, he could not vote for anyone else but supported John Taylor because of his views on the environment and dog fouling issues.

We increased our vote by 600 from last year by hard work, canvassing works and we are good at it, dog fouling was a big issue with many people, but so is Education and social care, housing is always a major issue.
Tameside Labour increased its vote all over Tameside almost taking Hyde Werneth, a good result but the annihilation the fascist, made it just that bit better.
Dukinfield Labour polled more votes than all the fascist in Tameside, and I am informed that Tamesides membership of bnp could be down in single figures very soon.
We have already started the work for 2012 elections and door knocking will be a big part of our campaign, four newsletters will be produced long before the election period kicks in and we might get the odd bit of good publicity in the local papers.

always makes me chuckle when i hear the bnp types ranting & raving in a wild & aggressive manner.

they really think voters are interested in their batty conspiracy theories and confrontational extremist plans.

local labour have got it right - regular newsletters, door-knocking, sticking to the nitty gritty issues that matter to local folk - and putting up known respectable people for election.

the fash will never learn - they are hard-wired for failure.

John Taylor's false statements said...

You made false statements in 2008 John.

Very, very, nice man indeed said...

You just stick to making false statements John.
Thats what you're good at.

Any Labour candidate standing in Dukinfield would win easily. Four out of every five of the electorate didn't vote for you. The turnout, despite the AV referendum was 32% meaning seven out of ten didn't bother to vote at all. If you or Labour were so universally popular people would be voting en masse.
Your tactics, the use of postal voters and long term bedrock of Labour support mean this ward is virtually unloseable.
Why don't you stand for an anti-immigration party like UKIP as your views, which you're always expressing on here, are far more closely aligned to them than they are to modern Labour. Because you'd lose to any Labour candidate who replaced you that's why and all that money and status would disappear.

Labour through and through life long members just like my trade union membership, my party allows differing views, none of them are extreme and the people of Dukinfield and the rest of Tameside supports them each year.
Those who choose not to vote must be content with our record of hard work, or they would come out and vote against us, just be like Man United admit you were beaten by a better team.

185 out of 532 English seats said...

Are those the Trades Unions that sat by and watched while Britain was flooded with cheap foreign labour under the last Labour government? Thought so. Mind you if it wasn't for the Unions Labour would have been wound up by the courts with all the money they owe. That's why Red Ed won the rigged (one man twelve votes) leadership election. He was the Unions' man.
As the massive public sector diminishes so will Labour's vote. Enjoy your wins locally becuse under this national Labour leadership and the worst shadow cabinet of all time, and with the 40 parliamentary seats minimum you're going to lose to the SNP at the next general election you're going to be out of power for a very long time.

That's soon, astronomically speaking.
