The new council and college building now being built will called "Tameside one " the council part of the building will be named after Daniel Adamson builder of the Manchester ship canal and factory owner in Dukinfield for many years , now Richmond park estate.

The college part will be named after Hannah Mitchell A suffragette and Socialist from Ashton  , work should be completed by the middle of next year hoping to move back into the new building in September along with other agencies sharing the building , a new library will be on the ground floor also.

Dukinfield Town Council will be meeting this Thursday at 4pm in Dukinfield town hall Lesser hall 2
