Dukinfield Ward councillors will be discussing with Dukinfield /Stalybride councillors the following alterations between the wards small changes to tidy up the boundaries .
All of Cheetham Hill road goes into Duk/Staly ward , this means properties from the Heron estate down to the Hyde border transferring, seven properties on Lodge lane transferring into Duk/Staly ward we have 7 properties from the oxford road end to the beginning of the allotments in Duk ward at present.
Belvedere drive, SandyVale and the left hand side of Sandy lane traveling up sandy lane along with Hyde street transferred into Duk ward . properties on oxford road from Birch lane junction to Sandy lane transferred into Duki ward.
We will discuss these changes and if agree would submit to the commission. all make the boundaries more even , Sandy lane area also makes sense all part of the Tame valley community.
