My late Grandad, George Keenan was a rag and bone man in Tameside, up until around the 70's I believe. He wore a very distinct orthopedic shoe on one foot to compensate for his left leg being bigger than the other.
...should anybody have a further information regarding my late Grandad (who passed away in the mid 80s please let me know.. thanks :-)
