Dukinfield town council

On Tuesday I will be presenting a report to Tameside council that will start the process of bringing in a town council for each of the nine towns in Tameside, we still have lots of work to do and Tuesday is just the legal start of the process.

Our communities will be involved and we will be looking for people to help us with this project it will be a forum for our communities to be involved, the report is available via the council's web site and will be an agenda item at Tuesdays public council meeting.

Community groups of all sizes can access some new schemes we are encouraging residents to adopt areas like the one on Oxford road in Dukinfield to look after and make into a pleasant garden area .
Resident can get together and install CCTV systems in one or two homes on their streets by getting together and funding the schemes , assistance with collecting the funds and providing registered contractors will be available.
